Remote Palette is a cool new way of painting, if you’ve got an iPad and an iPhone it’s an impressive way to make basic sketches. There are no buttons or icons on the canvas so there’s nothing to get in the way. Get your iPhone and iPad connected, then use the little one as your palette and the big one as your canvas. Change colours and brushes with the touch of a finger, then sweep it across your iPad screen and release your inner artist. Like your picture? It’s easy to email and share with friends.

Finger Paint adds some great outlines for children to colour in, select Finger Paint in the opening screen and choose the outline you’d like by clicking on the thumbnails, press Select and you’ll be asked if you want to connect to an iphone or paint offline.

Straight To Paint will take you to directly the canvas and you can toggle the palette on and off by pressing the palette icon.

Note: This functionality will require a bluetooth enabled device.

What's New in Version 1.1

Now works with older iphone devices and OS versions.

Works as expected, just don't expect too much

It is exactly what I thought it was when I downloaded it, there were no problems connecting or staying connected, and it was kinda fun. My 8yo son will enjoy it I think. But I can't help but feel that there is wasted potential here for something kinda fun to be kinda awesome.

I have several serious drawing/painting apps on the iPhone and iPad, and I didn't realize they were missing something until now. This would be a very useful tool in a serious app in that you wouldn't have to be constantly pulling up menus to paint (or at least not as often). But this isn't a serious paint app, it's for fun, so definitely get it if that's what you are looking for, but if not, you may be better of waiting until a serious app integrates similar functionality, as I suspect they may soon be looking to do.

They get 5 stars from me for introducing an interesting concept...good job there.

Very good, could be great.

With more colors and paint options this could be the premiere paint app.

I can't seem to figure out where to go to use the Finger Paint apps. It says the option should be on the opening screen but I don't see it listed.

Otherwise, my 4 yr old son thinks it's fun. Doesn't keep me occupied for long though.
